"Are... You... Kidding?" Heather grunted and hit the vending machine for the fifth time- still not managing to get the Snickers bar loose. "That's it, I'm bringing candy from home from now on." Grumbling vague cusses under her breath, she stomped back to her office, the area that the school considered a proper quarters for a nurse- like everything else in the building, it was almost as large as her entire apartment, with several beds along with her desk.

Cassidy winced, brushing her long red hair from her eyes. She looked straight ahead, avoiding the gleeful grin of her girlfriend, and hesitated before admitting, "They're, uh, fine with me bringing my best friend in the world home, yeah..."

The mediocrity that was today was killing my soul. After sitting through a Speech class staring out the window and sitting through a German class next to my ex, I was flat out, straight up ready for lunch and a nice conversation with my friends. I rushed out in the hall, ran to my locker when it hit me- my friends were all sick or had the other lunch today. Great. Sweet Jesus great.

So this is the next part of Coffeemates. It's been in the works for a while, and I'm glad I finally got it done. Now I can focus on the next part, which hopefully won't be up too far from now.
